On February 11, 2015, during a Russian Ministry of Defence briefing, Major General Igor Konashenkov denied allegations voiced by the anti-ISIS coalition’s spokesman Stephen Warren that Russian planes had bombed hospitals in Aleppo. Konashenkov also claimed that it actually were two US A-10 Thunderbolt jets that hit targets inside Aleppo.
